Another busy one. This week we…

• Visited the legend Frank Bell and the team at Consett Afc. As well as football teams and parties, over 1500 people go through the door each week for work training, breakfast clubs, business meetings and loads more. They also offer FREE training in loads of categories. Watch this space for more information about what you can do there
• Met with the Kicks Team who run the Youth Club at Delves Lane Village Hall on a Tuesday night
• Met with the residents’ group to discuss the Miller proposals at Greenways
• Attended the area planning committee (South and West)
• Were thrilled with the news that Creative Kitchen were awarded a 5 Star Hygiene rating – you can book a session with them at Crookhall Community Centre
• Reminded everyone to sign up to https://one.network/uk to get regular traffic and roadwork updates straight to your inbox
• Updated on the work we’ve been doing around dog fouling - please report areas of concern so the data can be logged to act on at https://www.durham.gov.uk/dogfouling
• Don’t forget Consett Police are holding and open advice and information session on Saturday 22nd January between 1pm and 3pm in Morrisons Café Consett, pop in to chat about crime prevention, Keep in The Know and off road bikes.
