Weekly round-up w/b 22nd November 2021

This is what we’ve been up to this week…

• Attended the Corporate Parenting Panel which included a visit to a youth secure centre as part of our CP role and responsibility
• Were thrilled to be invited to speak to our local Guides and Rangers about what it’s like being a women in politics. Check out their page at 5th Consett & 1st Delves Lane Girlguiding
• Worked with some local community groups to see what we could do to support their Christmas celebration plans
• Let everyone know about the event to view Middle Street plans in Consett Library (we’re still waiting for update about more dates and online availability)
• Brushed up our knowledge with some training for Equality & Diversity and GDPR
• Don’t forget there is a “Crime prevention and safer home” drop in session being ran by Consett Police neighbourhood team –Saturday 27th November at Morrisons between 2pm – 4pm. Pop in if you can.
