Another productive week!
✅ Attended even more training - we’re starting to think school was easier! ✅ Finalised details with Project Genesis Limited about our public (online) consultation. We will be releasing info soon. In the meantime remember to submit your questions at https://www.delves.info/news/we-asked-for-the-formal-withdrawal-of-the-application-for-hownsgill-incinerator ✅ Reported further issues raised by residents including flooding, litter, trees, unadopted road surfaces and antisocial behaviour ✅ Closed off some residents issues as now all sorted - job done! ✅ Attended a network event with Conservative Women’s Organisation - do get in touch if you’d like to join! https://conservativewomen.uk ✅ Teams meeting with some local primary school children about what Councillors do and listened to their excellent suggestions on what they'd like to see in our area ✅ Promoted Consett Youth Panel’s survey for young people across Consett ✅ Met with Catharine Harwood from Durham Youth Council to hear about how their service gives children and young people a 'collective voice' that is listened to and acted upon by the important decision makers.
