You can watch it again here as well as read associated documentation: https://www.delves.info/news/qa-with-project-genesis ✅ Completed even more training!! ✅ Continued to help and update our residents on issues we’ve been working on for them Delves Lane Division councillors had a meeting with Project Genesis Limited in May where we asked questions our residents were putting to us regarding the incinerator. We then requested a further opportunity for an open Q&A session and this event was the result of that. You can read full meeting details and the answers to the questions we asked at that May here.
In the absence of any formal public consultation, we felt a Q&A session was an appropriate interim option which is why we organised this session. We asked for questions to be submitted to us first so we could make sure that the event covered as much information as possible. The questions were shared with attendees, the viewers, the applicant and their representatives and you wan watch the full event and see the questions above. We invited all local councillors and representatives from the Say No to Consett Incinerator group to attend this event but they either declined or did not respond to our invite. The Q&A session was very long at 2 hours because we asked every single question we received. The applicant assures us that they have been already and will continue to answer all questions put to them. You can visit their website to get in touch directly here. They also have further information on there too. They have asked us to circulate this presentation and newsletter. Lastly, here is the link to the Durham Planning portal where you can read all of the planning documentation and submit an objection letter if you wish to. |
