• Shared how to get tickets for this year's Lumiere event
• Shared the free half term swimming information
• Attended two brilliant events with Durham Children in Care Council https://www.durhamcicc.co.uk/ and https://www.facebook.com/IiCYP
• Attended the full council meeting at Spenymoor
• Met with DCC planning to discuss the various ongoing and pending plans in our ward
• Met with local business KC Engineering https://kceng.com/ to discuss how we could support them as local councillors
• Met with Crookhall Community Centre committee to discuss exciting future plans
• Helped residents with queries around planning, traffic, parking and overgrown hedges

• Met the fantastic team behind Delves Lane Friendship Group who are soon to be starting up again post covid. More details coming soon.
• Met with local business Sustain Landscapes to hear all about their business history https://www.sustainlandscapes.com/
• Were thrilled to see that the public footpath from Delves Industrial Estate to the C2C route has now been cleared
• Manged to stop off for a delicious lunch of home make corned beef pie and a cheeky sweet treat at The Oasis Cafe
• Popped to see the Morrisons Consett Community Champion Tracey and had a behind the scenes tour
• Met with Crookhall Community Centre and the new volunteers to start finalising plans for reopening – watch this space for some great stuff coming up
• Had confirmation that Durham is through to the next stage of the City of Culture bid for 2025: https://www.itv.com/.../could-county-durham-become-uk...
• Encouraged residents to sign up to “Keep in the know” for updates about our area from police, community wardens and others
• Thanked our Durham County Council Neighbourhood Wardens - North for their success this week in tackling flytipping
• Shared the news that Briardale local convenience store is to get a paypoint terminal

✅ Attended the Mountsett Crematorium Joint Committee meeting
✅ Attended the Children and Young People's Overview and Scrutiny Committee
✅ Enjoyed working with the Joint Administration for a full day of planning and cooperation
✅ Met with Elddis Transport and enjoyed a tour of their new development work
✅ Attended a PACT meeting at Delves Lane Primary School with PCSO Mark Rodgers and discussed measures to assist with traffic congestion at drop off and pick up times (among other things) Hello in particular to Leanne )
